Bill Multhaupt, 81 of Oil City, Louisiana passed away on December 27, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Lakeview Memorial Garden, Oil City, La.
Bill was born on January 2, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio to Jerome and Marian Multhaupt. He served in the Airforce for four years, a master welder and retired from being a truck driver for over 60 years. Bill was married to the love of his life, Tammy Multhaupt for 37 years until her death in 2018. He enjoyed having is morning coffee with his “best buddy” Yank and then the two of them hitting the roads to see what they could get into next. He also enjoyed singing karaoke, white perch fishing, deer hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to supervise any task that you had at hand and would jump in and help with anything. His smile and laugh were contagious.
Bill is survived by his children; William “Bilbo” Multhaupt, III, wife Cherie, Kimala “Kim” Womack, and Charles “Chucky” Multhaupt, wife Alice, his grandchildren; Charles “Bear” Multhaupt, wife Brittany, Nicole “Niki” Price, husband Benji, Shannon Hall, Sommer Multhaupt, Jamie Womack, Alex Womack, and Donald Poleman. His Great grandchildren; Riley, Remi, Hunter, Harper, Johnna, Whitleigh, Wyatt and Victoria. His Great Great granddaughter Layla Craig. His siblings; Bob, wife Sharon, Mary Ann, Shari, and Noni. Yank and Tina Rodgers not only were they best friends but considered part of the family. Bill also had his “Extra” kids that included Henry Allborty, wife Dianne, Sunny Rule, husband Stephen, Jeanna Bradley, Shadie, Dustin, and Autumn are to name just a few.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife Tammy, father Jerome “Pappy”, mother Marian, siblings; Dona, Geri, Kenny, and Bobo.
Bill also had the greatest neighbors that anyone could ever ask for and we would like to thank Doug and Vicki Welch for always being there and looking out for him.
