Timmy Smith

Timmy E. Smith, age 60, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Homer, Louisiana. Born on October 15, 1964, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Tim lived a life rooted in the rhythms of the outdoors and the warmth of friends and family.

Known by his friends as "Beamie," Timmy was an avid fisherman whose love for the water was matched only by his passion for hunting and cooking. Whether casting a line at dawn or preparing a meal for those around him, he found joy in simple pleasures and shared that joy freely. He also enjoyed playing billiards and spending time with Charley B, moments that brought him laughter and companionship.

Tim is lovingly remembered by his sister, Susan Duck; his brother, Tony Smith; his nephews, Daniel and Corey Duck and Andrew Smith; and his niece, Paige Duck. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Smith; mother Patty King; father Jerel Smith; grandparents C.C. and Winnie Dillon and nephew Thomas Smith.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and peace to those who mourn his passing. He was loved and cherished by many.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordville, IN.
