Thomas Falgout

November 13, 1963 — July 4, 2024

Bossier City

Thomas “Tommy” Wayne Falgout, Jr (60), of Benton, Louisiana went home to our Lord on July 4, 2024, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandmother and grandfather, OT and Niece Falgout; and maternal grandmother and grandfather, Fred Culpepper and Louise Carter.

He is survived by his mother, Fredia White; father, Wayne Falgout; daughter, Brittani Lawson (Nick); grandchildren, Kenneth (Louanne), Makenzie, and Olivia; siblings, Melissa Moore (Gary), Tammy Hyatt (Steve Celestine), Larry Wayne Alexander (Denise), Dana Remedies-Lara, Jackie Foster, and Lynn Henderson; aunts and uncles, Linda Hooper (Donald), Yvonne Woodward, Wayne Culpepper, and Don Culpepper; and several other great-aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Tommy always had a passion for his favorite sports team, the New Orleans Saints, and of course anything LSU. He especially loved LSU football and was able to experience some time in Death Valley. He recently found a love for fishing and enjoyed spending time at his cousin’s ponds casting a line. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandbabies. He took great pride in watching Kenneth play baseball, cheering while Makenzie showed off her cheer skills, and giving Olivia the greatest boops and fist bumps. He loved being “Daddy” and “PawPaw” and never missed a beat showing up for his babies. He lived his last years showing his family all the love he had and most importantly, learning to live for the Lord. He recently found comfort in the love of Christ and developed a faith to be admired. He will be greatly missed on this earth, but we know he has entered Heaven and is saving a place for the rest of us.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, with visitation beginning at 4:00pm at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Services to be led by Chaplain Don Francis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Tommy to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance at colorectalcancer.org.
