In Loving Memory of Sandra Joyce Moore

November 19, 1952 – October 30, 2026

Sandra Joyce Moore, 73, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, at approximately 10:25 a.m., at The Carpenter House in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, Sandra made her home in Haughton, Louisiana, where she lived for the past 30 years. Her faith in Jesus was the foundation of her life, and she carried an unwavering belief that the Lord was always by her side, even through the toughest of times. She had a special way of finding hope in difficult moments and reminding those around her that they were never alone.

Sandra was a hardworking woman who spent more than 20 years working as a delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza. Through her years of service, she became a familiar and friendly face to many in her community.

Beyond her work and family, Sandra had a special place in her heart for animals. She loved her cats and had a lifelong passion for caring for animals in need. Her compassion led her to become a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for a time, dedicating herself to helping injured and orphaned wildlife.

Those who knew Sandra may remember the twinkle in her eyes whenever she spoke about eternity and being with Jesus. She looked forward to the day she would finally get to sing and dance with Him. Though her family and friends feel the heaviness of her absence, there is comfort in knowing that her faith has become sight and that she is finally dancing in the presence of the Lord.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Jones, and her beloved grandsons, Malachi and Parker.

She leaves behind her children, Joseph Ogletree, Tammy Lott, and Angela Hall; her grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Sara Johnson, Kristen Hall, and Elizabeth Flanagin; her brothers, David Moore and Randy Merritt; her sisters, Ruth Hippler, Angela Johnson, and Sharon Walden; and her dear best friend, Rebecca Boldt. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Though Sandra’s earthly journey has ended, the love she shared, the faith she carried, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved. May she rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, singing and dancing at last.
