Roger Doyle "Grumpy Grouchy Grandpa, GGG" Parish, age 72, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on May 11, 2022.
He was born on October 17, 1949, in Cordell, Oklahoma and married his wife Leah on June 24, 1972.
Roger never met a stranger and would tell anyone who would listen to him so many stories that would make you lose track of time. During Roger's working years at Tobacco Rack, Roger really appreciated working with Tony, and he enjoyed playing Atari with Jay.
During Roger's retirement, he enjoyed camping and vacationing with Randy, Lesha, and his wife Leah, when he was not occupied with his grand kids or great grand brats.
Roger is survived by his wife Leah, his son Arvil Parish (Brenda), his daughter Amanda Parish, his grandchildren Elizabeth Cockerham, Jon Cockerham, Annysa Williams (Frank), Justin Parish, and Taylor Yonnes.
He also had 6 great grandchildren that he loved very much and often time with Frank Williams, Paisly Williams, Sabrina Williams, Adelyne Parish, Kaisleigh Bonner, and Wyatt Williams.
Roger is also survived by his siblings, Donna Reed (Johnny), Marvin Melton (Cindy), Becky Gilbert (John), his cousins Pete Wrigley (Shirley) and Ed Melton, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Roger is preceded in death by his father William Parish, his dad and mom Rex and Betty Melton, his youngest daughter Sabrina Parish, his uncle Gerald Parish, his brother in laws Pat & Greg Joyce, and Jimmy Leggett, and his most recent furry companions, Albert & Angel Parish.
The family likes to extend a special thank you to Rick Carter for everything from being his friend to being a caretaker.

The memorial service will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City on May 18, 2022, visitation will begin at 1PM and the memorial service led by Father Price will begin at 2PM.
