Robert Wayne Gardner

Robert Gardner, 64, of Bossier City LA, lost his battle with cancer. 

Robert was born in La  Mesa  California on May 21, 1960 to Bob and Dixie Gardner.  The family moved to Gassville AR in 1964 where Robert enjoyed his childhood.  He entered the US Air Force at age eighteen and retired after twenty years.  After retirement Robert came back to Barksdale Air Force Base in 2003 as a civilian employee in the electric shop.  He remained there for twenty years and retired for the second time.  Robert loved rving and bowling and was a member of the Shreveport Area Radio Kontrol Society.  He also enjoyed woodworking when he found the time.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Debra Gardner and his sister Kathi, uncle Glen, aunt Martha, and aunt Ruth Ann.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Dixie, and baby brother Tommy.
