Regina Rae Tingle, age 98, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Regina was born September 27, 1927, in Picayune, Mississippi. She spent much of her early life in Shreveport, Louisiana, and later moved to Vivian, Louisiana, where she attended Vivian High School.
Regina was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Shreveport, where she faithfully served for many years. She coordinated the church’s Mother’s Day Out program and taught the three-year-old Sunday School class, touching the lives of many young children and families through her kindness and devotion.
She was a talented seamstress and an excellent cook who loved caring for others through her gifts. Regina was known for her compassionate heart and gentle spirit, qualities that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Tingle Stalker of Blanchard, Louisiana, her son, Charles Christopher Tingle of Monroe, Louisiana, and his wife, Candace Michelle Tingle of Taylor, Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lori Elizabeth Johnson of Austin, Texas; David Cole Johnson of Dripping Springs, Texas; Christopher Hudson Tingle of Monroe, Louisiana; and Samantha Scout Tingle of Monroe, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Edwin Ladner, and her sister, Marguerite “Marge” Ann Bostwick.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the caring staff of Pilgrim Manor, Bristol Hospice, and family friend Randy Wilson for their kindness and support.
Regina found great comfort in the words of her favorite scripture, Psalm 23.
