Norma Elizabeth Vandergriff

Norma Elizabeth Sandoval peacefully passed away on February 2, 2026. She was a warm and devoted mother to three daughters, a loving grandmother-Nana to nine grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to two.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters Lorraine Tarango with her spouse Manny Tarango, Stephanie Vandergriff, and Brittany Thomas. Her beloved grandchildren include Geneva Tarango, Dario Tarango, Brianna Tarango, Romeo Watkins, Nevaeh Watkins, Jaxyn Vandergriff, Micheal "J.J" Thomas, Maliyah Thomas, and Rachel Thomas. Her amazing great-grandchildren Kataleya Tarango and Dario Tarango.

Norma was preceded in death by her father Pedro Sandoval and her mother Refugio Sandoval, as well as her brothers and sister Mike Sandoval, Mario Sandoval, and Olga Horton.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Pedro Sandoval, Robert Sandoval, Alice Sandoval, Irma Sandoval, and Sandy Suderman. Many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who loved her very much and will miss her deeply.

A heartfelt tribute goes to Packages Plus where Norma worked for many wonderful years serving the community as well as forming lasting friendships and bonds with many people. As well as the owner of Packages Plus, Keith Cockerham who not just worked alongside Norma but formed an awesome friendship for over 25 years.

We also want to honor our church, Airline Baptist Church and our Pastor Harrell Shelton. Airline Baptist Church is our church home where Norma and her family have served four meaningful years at.
