Noel “Dale” Hansford, age 77 of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, leaving behind a life full of love and joy. Dale was best known for his love of fishing and being an avid fisherman, he was rarely seen seated in his boat, he was always standing, steady and determined, doing things his own way. Those who knew Dale can picture him there, content and at peace, rod in hand, a place where he felt most like himself.
Dale proudly served his country in the Army National Guard from 1970 to 1977, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and integrity. Throughout his working life, he connected easily with people and built lasting relationships. In his younger years, he worked as a car salesman before later retiring as a boat salesman from H & W Marine, where his love for boats and the water made him a natural fit.
Later in life, Dale found something just as special as his love for fishing, he found Frances. Their love was genuine and deeply cherished. Dale adored Frances and treated her like a queen, with thoughtfulness, loyalty, and a love that never went unnoticed. Together, they showed everyone around them that true love has no timeline.
A man of faith, Dale was a member of Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana.
Dale is proceeded in death by his parents; Noel and Dorothy Hansford.
Dale is survived by his wife; Frances Hansford, daughters; Amanda Kay Miller (Leslie) and Stacey Card (Jimmy), stepson; Jay Craig (Cori), grandchildren; Jace Parker, Katherine Parker Harrison and Skylar Bernard and great-grandchild; Bree Parker.
Funeral services will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM, followed by funeral services at 2:30 PM. Burial will be determined at a later date.
