She was born March 2, 1935, in Washington D.C to her parents, Hale Lincoln and Pauline Victoria Golden of Silver Spring, Maryland. She is predeceased by the love of her life Paul Richard Sipe, formerly of Burnham Pennsylvania and her sister Linda McKay Brown of Raleigh North Carolina. They married in 1956 and shortly thereafter began a journey around the world in service to our nation. After 30 years of service, they retired together to Winchester Virginia. Not long after Richard’s passing, she relocated to Bossier City, Louisiana to be closer to her daughter and family.
Nancy was a very active member of the Methodist Church throughout her life; singing in the choir, baking her famous cherry pies for sales, teaching the Disciple Series, Bible studies and was a member in the Methodist Women of Faith ministries. Nancy was an expert of needle crafts, making beautiful quilts and crocheting blankets for family and friends while donating her works to the Shaw ministry at the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, Louisiana.
Her family and faith were the most important forces in her life.
