Nancy Gallion

Nancy Lee Gallion, 80, of Bossier City LA, passed away on February 12, 2024.

Nancy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 13, 1943. As an Air Force dependent, she grew up living in Utah, Illinois, Africa, and England.  She graduated from Lakenheath High School at Royal Air Force Base, Lakenheath England Suffolk.

During her time in England, she met the love of her life, James Gallion Sr., and they married on August 11, 1961.  They were married 62 years. Together, they traveled the world with his Air Force service, living in places such as England, Guam, and many U.S. states, settling in Bossier City LA when James Sr. retired from his service in the Air Force.  They still traveled often to California to spend time with her mother and sister.

Nancy was a homemaker, raising her three sons, James Jr., Ronald, and Kenneth.  Her proudest accomplishment was the family she created with James.  Nancy's greatest love was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, James Gallion Sr; her sons, James Jr. (Christi), Ronald (Melody), and Kenneth; grandchildren, Brandy Gallion, Joanie Boeckman, Justin Gallion, Jacob Gallion, Matthew Gallion, Kevin Gallion, Kyle Gallion, and Shannon Cutrera; and her 17 great-grandchildren.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Ivan Reimer and Margaret Webb Reimer, and her sister Cathy Reimer.

She will forever be remembered by her love for her family and all of the special memories the have made.

Service will be officiated by  Bishop John Albin
