Shreveport, LA Millicent Mortgomery, 61, a deputy sheriff with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's office, died on Thursday, at Schumpert Grace Home in Shreveport, LA after a twelve-year battle with cancer. The family will be receiving friends at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, on Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM with graveside at Rose Neath Cemetery. Rev. Durell Tuberville will officiate the service.
