Margaret Jane Rogers

Margaret Jane Rogers, 76, of Shreveport, LA passed away on November 30, 2021. Her Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on December 3, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City. Bryan Dauphin will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 pm. Jane was born in Shreveport, LA on September 10, 1945, and graduated from Fair Park High School. She was married to John David Rogers May 17, 1963, and they remained happily married for 58 years. Jane worked at Western Electric for 10 years in production. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren, and her fishing buddies. Jane is survived by her husband John David; sons David and Robert (Leslie); grandchildren Alexander Rogers, Kimberly Rogers, and sister Barbara Jean Hardy; friends Jerry and Jean Pickett; Mark and Pat Gorum. Jane is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Anne Rogers, her parents Melvin and Margaret Flowers, brother, Melvin Monroe Flowers and sister, Patti Virginia Flores. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
