Leonard Dean Strickland

Leonard was born November 23, 1949 in Plain Dealing, LA to Allen and Pauline Strickland. He passed on May 15, 2022 in Shreveport, LA. A Celebration of Life service for Leonard will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May20, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, half-brothers, Fred, James and David Strickland. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Allene Deleon and husband Joe, Beverly Rohde and husband Pete, Ronnie Strickland and wife Jackie, Sandra Robertson and husband Robert, and Louise Collins and husband Lee, and many other family members and friends. Leonard was baptized June 28, 1963, in his hometown of Plain Dealing. He later joined the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served his country from 1969 to 1973. Leonard will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Plain Dealing.
