Laverne S. Brister, "Memi", departed this earth to be with the Lord on June 10, 2006. A memorial gathering will be held at Boone Funeral Home on Monday evening, June 12, 2006 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Boone Chapel. Bro. Jerry Ables of First Baptist Church in Bossier City will officiate with Mildred Walker assisting.
