Judy Rambin, 75, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 4, 2026. Born on October 8, 1950, in Heflin, Louisiana, Judy was the adored child of Eugene Green and Nellie Crow Green. Judy graduated from Heflin High School, where she enjoyed playing basketball for the Lady Hawks. Judy continued her education at Northwestern State University, where she graduated and pursued her passion as a Registered Nurse.
For over 50 years, she brought comfort, healing and relentless advocacy to her patients at Willis Knighton Medical Center. Nursing was more than a profession – it was a true calling. She impacted countless lives with her gentle touch, compassion, empathy and generosity. When she was caring for patients who lacked access to basic needs, she would go to the cafeteria and purchase bags of food, so they did not leave hungry. Judy was an angel on Earth who always put others before herself and family could count on to be present with them during difficult situations, so they did not face these times alone.
Judy’s greatest pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended every basketball/football game, performance, concert and ceremony she possibly could. Judy was the heart and center of our family, the keeper of traditions and the one who brought us all together. Her presence made holidays magical and family gatherings unforgettable, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
She also found joy in the simple things: Mexican food, an ice-cold Coca-Cola, satisfying her sweet tooth, listening to Rock N Roll, and visiting her happy place which was the beach. Judy had a wonderful sense of humor and time spent around her always guaranteed laughter. She was one of those rare people who made everyone feel welcome and comfortable and those who knew Judy couldn’t help but to love her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene L Green, mother, Nellie B Aultman and stepfather Gerald Aultman and her very best friend, Alice Carlson.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Kerri Webb and husband Jon (Texarkana AR), Kristi Brewster (Bossier City, LA) and Kelli Hull and husband Dwayne (Shreveport, LA). Brother Patrick Green and wife Joy (Dublin, GA). Ex-husband and friend Clent Rambin and wife Trellis (Bossier City, LA). She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Alayna, Jackson, Logan, Justin, Presli and Grasyn. along with extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Though she is no longer with us, Judy’s kindness, humor, strength and unconditional love will live on through the multitude of lives she touched and her family she loved so deeply.
