Joseph Wills Roberts

Joe Roberts went to his eternal home on April 10, 2026. A service honoring Joe’s life will be held at 11am, April 20, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Waskom, TX. The family will receive guests from 10am – 11am.

Joe was lighthearted and loved to make others laugh. He never took life too seriously when around family and friends. One of his favorite things to do was driving his Camaro on the back roads, windows down, listening to his favorite music. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his three daughters and his grandchildren.

Joe had over 36 years of experience in water and sewer construction and was a Superintendent for Wicker Construction for many years.

Waiting in Heaven is his beloved wife, Samantha. Left to cherish precious memories are father, B J “Butch” Roberts and wife Linda; mother, Suzanne Wills Patterson and the late Bill Patterson; daughters, Cassie Gidman and husband Alex, Josie Roberts and Joe Delia, Kylie Villegas and husband Alex; grandchildren, Leo, Quinn, and Elliot Gidman, and Ezra Villegas; siblings, April Roberts Wilson and husband Mark, Michael Patterson and wife Kelly, James Patterson and wife Brianna; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Elizabeth Flores for her years of friendship, dedication and loving care.
