April 17, 2025 - Went to Fly with the Angels

Jimmie "Andy" Anderson, a man whose heart was as big as his laugh, took his final flight April 17, 2025 to be with his wife, brother, sisters and friends.  A proud Army veteran and a seasoned oilfield worker, Andy lived his life with courage, kindness, and a wit that could light up any room.  He was the kind of man who made you feel like family within minutes-whether through a warm handshake, a plate of something he'd just cooked, or a funny story "back in the day."

Born with a giving spirit, Andy was never one to let a need go unmet.  If you needed a lesson, a laugh, a hot meal--or even the shirt off his back--he was there.  Generous to a fault, patient as a saint, and always full of wisdom.  Andy's greatest joys were simple and pure: time spent with family, lazy days fishing, and conversations with friends over good food.  In truth, he loved all three deeply, though probably not in that order.  He found joy in feeding people.  His cooking was legendary, and his table was always open.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, humor, and strength that will be felt for generations to come.  Andy's family--includes his sons Brian Anderson (and wife Donna) and Brad Anderson; his daughter Pamela Anderson; his grandchildren Logan Anderson (and wife Heather) Jacob Sparks, and Morgan Anderson; and his great-grands Landon and Elle.  Each of them carries a piece of his heart and a part of his spirit.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that the world was better for having him in it.  If we can be even half the person he was, we will be doing alright.

Please join us to honor and celebrate Andy's incredible life on May 30, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM.  We will share coffee and cookies, during a time of visitation.

Fly High, Andy--you've earned your wings.  

You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
