Jill M. Cole

Jill Marie Cole, 76, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026. Born on January 18, 1950, to Charles Russell McCullough and Mary Glynn McCullough, Jill brought immense warmth, creativity, and love to everyone who knew her.

Jill was deeply devoted to her family. Some of her fondest memories included fishing and travelling with Dan, and she treasured every moment spent with her daughters and granddaughters. She was an incredibly talented crafter, known for her beautiful crocheting and intricate cross-stitch projects. Jill was also a passionate and faithful leader within the Louisiana State Methodist Cursillo community, where her spirit and love for Christ shone brightly.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Danny Cole; her daughters, Stacey and Lynn; her cherished granddaughters, Jillian and Samantha; and her sister, Kim Martin. She is preceded in death by her siblings Lucy and Russ McCullough.

A service to celebrate Jill’s life will be held at Boone Funeral Home.  The service will be led by Rev. Mark Goins. In honor of Jill’s legacy of faith, the service will feature recorded Cursillo music sung by a choir that includes Jill's own voice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Louisiana Methodist Cursillo movement or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be shared on the tribute wall below.
