Jean Annette (Ann) Skipper Boykin, 71, of Sibley, LA., passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 surrounded by her family.

She was born on February 26, 1955 in Biloxi Mississippi and spent her life teaching piano to everyone that was eager to learn (and some that were not so eager). She loved music and inspired/taught many to develop their gifts. She was known above all for these: Faith, Family, Friends, Flowers, Ancestry Research, and Piano. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She spent her free time in the yard/flower beds, on the tractor, creating a beautiful relaxing environment for her family and neighbors. She also enjoyed her “she shed” and doing burn outs in Roger’s muscle cars. All the kids at church looked forward to “Lead Foot Annie’s” Sunday morning burn outs. It is rumored that she had a mutual understanding with a local state trooper. Ann’s generous, loving spirit was evident to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Angelia Boykin Eisner, spouse James Eisner, grandson Warren Connor Eisner, and siblings Phillip Neal Skipper, spouse Linda Skipper, Christy Joy Skipper, spouse Ronald Kilby, Stacy Skipper, spouse Jeanice Skipper. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Boykn, siblings, Dale Skipper, Richard Skipper, spouse Paula Skipper, and David Skipper, spouse Sue Skipper.

A celebration of life will be held on April 19, 2026 at Bistineau Baptist Church, 195 Bistineau Church Rd, Heflin, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Bistineau Baptist Church.
