Janelle Stanley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janelle Stanley, on September 28, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. 

She was born in Louisiana but grew up in New Mexico where she rode horses and heavily involved in the rodeo for years. If you knew her, you knew that she loved to cook and loved to go out dancing. She was the truest friend, loving wife, and a cherished family member whose absence will leave an irreplaceable void in all our lives.

Janelle is preceded in death by her beloved family members, loving husband of 25 years Donald Stanley, parents John and Lena Bryant, and brother Clyde Holland.

She is survived by her children, Roy Jackson & wife Lisa, Kellie Henderson and children Jason and Jordan Henderson , Bryan Pritchard and wife Mia and child Bishop Pritchard. Stepchildren: Chris Stanley and wife Laurel, Keith Stanley and wife Robin, Doug Stanley and wife Christel, as well as nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

 Her interment will be Monday, October 21, 2024, at 10.30 am at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Guests welcome.

 The family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
