James Leshe

James Michael Leshe went to his forever home on August 28, 2023 and reunited with his son Johnny Ray Rowell “Coony”.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Phodie and James R. Leshe; son, Johnny Ray Rowell; sister, Leta Faye Leshe; and sister, Susan Williford.

Mike was born in Ringgold, LA on October 8, 1946.  He graduated from Ringgold High School in 1965.  Later after graduation he joined the U.S. Navy in 1969 and was discharged in 1972.  After the Navy, Mike worked on heavy machinery for 50 years and retired in 2017.  Verna T. and Mike got married on June 12, 1980 and have been married for 43 years.

Mike is survived by his wife, Verna T. Leshe of Ringgold, LA; daughter, Wendy Rowell of Ringgold, LA; son, Robert Lynn Rowell and wife Sue of East Point, LA; daughter-in-law, Tonya Rowell of Castor, LA; granddaughter, Krystal Noel and husband John and kids, Krystalyn Noel and Anthony & Lola Plunkett of Stanton, TX; grandson, Justin Rowell and daughter Madison Rowell of Castor, LA; grandson, Donnie Powell and wife Tara and kids Magnolia & Thomas Powell of Castor, LA; granddaughter Morgan Rowell and kids Dixie, Savannah & Remington Langley of Minden, LA; grandson, Michael Patton of Pineville, LA; sister, Becky Terdin and husband Dennis of Shreveport, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
