Jack Gladden

Jack Edwin Gladden went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 13, 2024. Jack was born on April 19, 1930, in Shreveport, LA. He graduated from Fair Park HS in 1948 and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. In 2017 he was awarded the Louisiana Medal of Honor for his military service. Jack was a Journeyman Electrician. He loved fishing, hunting, and cars. He was very proud of the 68 lb. catfish he reeled in at Cross Lake. Family and friends benefited from his fishing skills as he loved to share his catch. As with everything in life, Jack gave more than he received.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Josie Gladden, brother, Felix Gladden, Jr., and sister, Betty Jo Carroll. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Patricia Berry and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be private family graveside services at a later date.
