She moved to Greenwood, LA in 2000 to be near her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and family and going out to eat whenever possible. She loved her many friends at Greenwood Elderly Apartments. She was funny, fiercely loyal and always up for a party.
She has resided the last four years at Heritage Manor West nursing home. The staff became her family, and she could often be seen heading towards her bingo game two days per week.
June is survived by her daughter, Ginny and husband Ken Bryan of Waskom, TX; grandsons Mark Germany and wife Shea of Denton, TX; Ken D. Bryan and wife Courtney of Austin, TX; adopted granddaughter Lisa Rae French and husband Steve of Bossier City, LA. She is also survived by her beloved nephews and nieces who frequently called her.

And a special thanks goes to Life Path Hospice and her friends Frances and Bunny who helped care for her in these last days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oakwood Home for Women, Shreveport, LA, your local animal rescue or charity of your choice.
