Gene Allen Pyron, Jr., 57, passed away Sunday morning with his wife by his side at his home in Bossier City after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gene was born on October 12, 1968, in Dallas, Texas to Gene Allen Pyron, Sr. and Bonnie Climer Pyron. He built a long and successful career spanning more than 30 years in the hospitality and entertainment industry, where his dedication, work ethic, and natural ability to connect with people earned him the respect and friendship of many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Allen Pyron, Sr.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Mrs. Lori Sanders Pyron of Bossier City, Louisiana, whom he married on May 10, 2002. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Rick and Bonnie Joyner of Canton; one brother, Aaron Pyron of Canton, Texas; a large and loving extended family; and his beloved fur babies, Thor, Romeo, Max, and Smokey.

Gene will be remembered for his strength, his perseverance, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His courage throughout his illness reflected the same determination with which he lived his life.
