Faye was born in Fayette, MS to Richard and Alyene Smith. She married the love of her life, Ralph Freeman at a young age. Ralph worked in the oil fields most of his career and Faye never left his side.Together they raised three children. Before retiring Faye owned Faye’s Beauty Salon and served her community by making everyone beautiful. She was employed at Boone Funeral Home for over twenty years, serving many families with her kind and loving heart. When not working she could be found playing Bingo and playing in the dirt. Making everything beautiful was her passion.
Most important to Faye was her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They are the joy of her life. So that her granddaughter, Tiffany would never be forgotten she served on the Board of Directors for Tiffany Strong Scholarship Foundation, that provides college scholarships.
Welcoming Faye into Heaven are Ralph Freeman; George Singleton; son, Willie Freeman; son-in-law, Victor Harrington; granddaughter, Tiffany Pippenger; and great-grandson, Braylon Fuller.
