Ella Abbott

Stonewall, LA - Funeral services for Ella Abbott will be 12:30 PM, Friday, February 10, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Stan McKee of Salem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to service time. Ella, born December 27, 1910, was a long time resident of Shreveport and Stonewall. She entered the gates of Heaven on February 6, 2012. Waiting for her there are her husband of 45 years, Henry C. Abbott; daughter, Vera Abbott Thomas; mother, Addie Wilson Phillips; and all of her brothers and sisters. Remembering the joy and love she shared are grandchildren; Saundra Thomas Veyna, Richard Thomas and Terrell Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; 21 great-great children; and three great-great-great grandchildren. Mommy, we love you and will miss you very much.
