Donna Arends

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Lee Arends, who passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the age of 73.

Donna proudly served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, dedicating her life to the service of her country.  Throughout her military career, she demonstrated honor, integrity, and commitment, earning the respect of fellow service members and the gratitude of those she served.   Her years in the Air Force were a source of great pride and reflected her strong sense of duty and patriotism.

Donna is survived by her husband of 50 years, Federico "Max" Arends lll,; her children, Lisa, Ala, and Max lV; her daughter in law, Sharee; son in law, Paul; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Erin, Max V, Emma, Isobel, and Marshall; her great-grandchildren, Taeshaun, Josie May, and Alice and Kennedy; and her sister, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sally Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to VFW Post 5951 to assist with the purchase of a new Point of Sale (POS) system.  Donations may be made through Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Account #1383832201; please earmark the donation for the POS system.
