Delight lived in Texas most of her childhood and young adult life, she graduated from Christian University with a degree in chemistry, although she ultimately found her career in drafting for an engineering firm.
In retirement they found various hobbies, including rebuilding and working on cars, being active members of Ark-La-Tx The Bayou Birds, Thunderbird Club, genealogy, restoring old technology, and volunteering their talents in their community.
They will continue to be remembered by their family, friends, caring neighbors and caregivers for their long-lasting marriage and dedication to one another, their abundant long life, love for their cats, nutrition, politics, and their spirited conversations about topics they were passionate about.
