Deborah Lewis

Mrs. Deborah (Granny) Lewis passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2023, at the age of 71.  She was born on May 22, 1951, in Springhill LA, to Ernest and Geraldine Jackson.  She graduated from Springhill High School, and later met the love of her life in 1973.  They later married on June 1, 1973.  They remained married for nearly 50 years.  This marriage produced two children, Ashlea and Eric. She loved more than anything, her grandson Cole.  She enjoyed family time and her pets; plus any animal she could catch.  The Casino, Home Shopping Network, QVC, fishing and music were other ways she enjoyed spending her time.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Geraldine Jackson; grandparents Minnie Malone, Paul and Annie Jackson; brother Mike Jackson and sister Patricia Tate.

She leaves to mourn husband Delmar Lewis; children Ashlea and Eric and their spouses Brian and Holli; grandson Cole; Aunts Bobbie, Annette, Phyllis and her spouse Wilford.  She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
