Dean Sondgeroth, 71, of Benton, LA passed away on July 10, 2026. He was born on December 9, 1954 in Mendota, Illinois to Roland and Wilma Sondgeroth.
He was survived by his wife, Carolyn Sondgeroth; son, Shaun (Samantha) Beck; daughters: Katherine Bruner, and Elizabeth Bruner; grandchildren: Avendia, Orianna, Rogan, and Mason; siblings: Charles (Joanna) Sondgeroth, Ralph (Julie) Sondgeroth, Kathleen (Rush) Brown, Joseph Sondgeroth, Patrick (Nancy) Sondgeroth, Randy (Mary) Sondgeroth, Donna (Jack) Huff; brothers-in-law, Robert Fox, Marvin (Tanya) Vann, Jr; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Wilma Sondgeroth and his sister, Mary Fox.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St Jude Catholic Church. The visitation will take place at 10:30 AM before the service.
