CONNIE BARLOW BASS
Connie Barlow Bass was born on April 18, 1952, and went to her heavenly home on November 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.K. Barlow and Marie Barlow; sisters: Dorothy Ann Barlow, Mary Lou Newlen, Lavern Marten, one son, Steven Benjamin Hudec and her husband Bud Bass.
She is survived by her son Matt Hudec and wife Natalie, three grandsons, Trent Hudec, Dylan Hudec and Jace Hudec. Connie is also survived by sisters: Katy Caskey, Faye Cook, brother-in-law: Tom Newlen and a host of nieces and nephews.
Connie graduated from Arcadia High School and went on to graduate with a Master’s Degree, PLUS 30 in Psychology from Louisiana Tech.
After attaining her degrees, she taught Psychology at Louisiana Tech, was an Office Manager at ARK-LA- GAS and then became an advisor and counselor for the state. She also owned an H&R Block Franchise. These are only a few of her life endeavors.
She was extremely intelligent. If anyone had a question, they would call her, because they knew she would have the answer.
She loved riding Harleys with her husband, listening to Classic Rock, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She loved to laugh.
She will forever be loved and missed tremendously.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
