Cloteal Wray

Cloteal Wray, age 71 of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be remembered most for the love she carried in her heart and the joy she found in the simple, meaningful moments of life. Born on February 22, 1954 in Oakdale, Louisiana to parents Johnny and Edna Johnson and was married to David “Dale” Wray for 49 years until his passing in 2022.

Cloteal’s greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Whether it was sharing a meal, celebrating milestones, or simply sitting together in laughter and conversation, she cherished every moment with them. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit created a foundation of love that her family will hold onto forever.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Cloteal is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Parker and husband Dewaine; son, Lange Wray and wife Lana; her grandchildren; Angela Whitehead, Jared Parker, Ann Marie Dufrene, Hudson Wray, and William Wray, her great-grandchildren; Zane Whitehead, Maverick Whitehead, Hazael Whitehead, Ryan Dufrene, Kori Marie Dufrene, Grayson Dufrene, and Paxton Roussel.

Services to honor Cloteal Wray will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Pentecostals of Bossier City, 2833 Viking Dr, Bossier City, Louisiana, 71111, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM and the funeral service following at 1:00 PM. Officiated by Sr. Pastor Jerry Dean and obituary reading by Dewaine Parker. Graveside services will take place at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery, 601 US-80, Haughton, Louisiana, 71037, immediately after.
