Caroline Lee Langley

d. July 13, 2021

Caroline Lee Finch Langley passed away July 13, 2021, in Shreveport. Caroline was born November 5, 1945, to Henry and Laura Finch. A Celebration of Caroline’s life will be held, 3:00 PM, July 16, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Johnson will officiate. As a youth, Caroline graduated from Woodlawn High School and began preparing for a career in nursing. Her loving, and caring spirit made her successful in her twenty-seven years career as an LPN. Later in life, she decided to return to college and received a degree in nursing administration from McNeese University. While at work, or at home with family, she always had open arms for anyone that needed a hug and would help anyone that needed her. She loved to sing and would call friends that needed a pick-me-up and sing to them over the phone. She enjoyed being active in ladies’ groups at her church and crocheting. Preceding Caroline in death is a son, Mitchell Myers and mother, Laura Mae Finch. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Perry Langley, Sr.; children, Perry Langley, Jr. and wife Stormy; Patrick Langley, and Peggy Smith; grandchildren, Tabitha Rachelle Smith, Nikki Myers, Catherine Myers, Leah Langley, Jon Langley, Madelyn Arnold, Johnathan Arnold, and Valerie Lambright; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Morgan; and many other family members and friends. Caroline gave so much of herself to others, both at work and at home. She touched so many hearts during her years of nursing, and later in life by just being available when someone needed someone. She will be greatly missed.
