Carla Dianne Liker

Carla Dianne Liker, age 64, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on March 1, 2026, in the same city where her story began. Born on February 22, 1962, Carla—affectionately known as "Mimi" to those who loved her—was a woman of sharp wit, deep loyalty, and a quirky sense of humor.

Carla was a familiar and welcoming face at the Willis Knighton Pierremont gift shop. She truly found joy in assisting others, catching up with familiar faces who passed through the doors, and spending time with her friend, Teresa. Outside of work, Mimi's passions were as unique as she was: she was a lifelong enthusiast of Bigfoot lore, an avid wrestling fan, and found peace (and hopefully a few bites without the turtles trying to steal her bait) while fishing with Josh and Amber.

Known for her "tell it like it is" attitude, Carla’s honesty was matched only by her comedic timing. She took great delight in terrorizing Chelsea’s cats and was never happier than when she was sharing a hilarious story about her grandson, Jayden.

She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Hansen and husband Ross; her sons, Joshua Russell and partner Amber, Davon Humphries, and Kevin Liker; her beloved grandson Jayden Cook; Robert Russell; Susan Martin; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Berlie Humphries and Gladys Mangum.

A memorial service to celebrate Mimi’s life and spirit will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation starting at noon, followed by the service at 1:00 PM.
