Brenda Drinkard, 66, of Bossier City, Louisiana, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2026. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a kind and loyal friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast love for her family will be cherished forever.

She leaves behind her son, Shawn and wife Sarah, along with their daughters Shannen, Sidney, and Skylar; and her son, Jason and wife Melissa, and their daughter Aubrie.

Brenda was adored by her grandchildren and found endless joy in each of them. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie, brother, David, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Phillip, her mother, Effie, father, Hal, and brother, Harold, and niece Jennifer.

Brenda’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering loyalty will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched and cared for.

A service to honor and celebrate Brenda’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home on Airline Drive.
