Bertie Mae Willhite

Bertie Spain grew up in Blanchard, Louisiana, in 1960 she married Don Willhite, August 1962 they had a son, Donny. They were married 61 years, during the marriage Bertie was a devoted and loving wife and homemaker who was always cooking and making delicious pies. Bertie had 5 brothers and 4 sisters; she was the stubborn one of the bunch.

Bertie is survived by her son, Donny and sister Dianne Riley, 3 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren. She was a caring and loving Mammaw, she had a special star in her heart for Donny Michael and great-grandson Preston.
