Arturo Maldonado

In Loving Memory of Arturo C. Maldonado "Chico"

Arturo C. Maldonado, affectionately known by everyone as "Chico," passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on September 8, 1945, Chico lived a full and vibrant life defined by hard work, deep loyalty, and an unforgettable personality that was both incredibly funny and serious at the same time.

Chico was a man who truly understood the value of hard work and community. He was always the first to lend a helping hand whenever a friend was in need. But when the workday was done, Chico knew exactly how to enjoy life. He loved classic cars and shooting pool, but his absolute favorite pastime was socializing with his friends, sharing a cold beer, and making his rounds to catch up with everyone in town. He never met a stranger, and his presence could light up any room.

Above all his hobbies, Chico’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a dedicated father and a fiercely proud grandfather who loved watching his family grow.

He is survived by his loving children: his daughter, Michelle, and his two sons, David Maldonado and Roberto Maldonado. He leaves behind his cherished legacy in his six grandchildren: Taylor Maldonado, Roberto Maldonado Jr., Keniyah Maldonado, Heaven Maldonado, Triniti Maldonado, and Kylie Maldonado. He is also survived by his devoted sister, Connie Herrera, and his brother, Rick Maldonado, along with a wide circle of lifelong friends who will miss his humor, his advice, and his company deeply.
