Al Harlan

AL Harlan passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2026. Al was born in Forest, Louisiana on April 9,1935 and lived to see his 91st birthday.

He graduated from Forest High School and continued on, only to receive an invitation from Uncle Sam to visit South Korea. Upon returuning from South Korea, Al pursued a career with his father and joined him in oilfield production, laying pipeline. Eventually, Al was able to follow a dream and began a career in avionics. He obtained his pilot's license and from there -the sky was the only limit.

Very few are able to make a living at their dream job, and he was one of those few, making lots of new friends who became old friends as the years went by.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and sister and one son-in-law.
