Arland Ray Edwards

Arland Ray Edwards, born on October 21, 1959 went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 25, 2014 after a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28 and services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, both at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Pastor Al Eden. Interment will follow at Welcome Cemetery, Stateline Rd, Arkansas (just outside of Springhill, LA). Ray is preceded in death by his father, Buster Edwards and grandparents, George & Lutisha Edwards, Garland & Edith Norman. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Edwards; brothers Jerry, Rickey, and Jimmy Edwards; sisters Rebecca and husband Cliff Burge, Donna and husband Bart DeMoss, Brenda Lauw, one uncle, three aunts, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northpoint Community Church, 4204 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111 or to your charity of choice.
